Measurable sustainability

Standards, certifications, and verifiable metrics: every biofiller claim is backed by European standards and technical reports available upon request.

Bio-based

AGM products are, in accordance with EN 16848, 100% bio-based and renewable by definition as they are derived entirely from natural biomass. In select products, the renewable content ranges between 96–100% due to the potential addition of specific processing additives to enhance target properties.

Carbon Footprint

The carbon footprint (CFP) of our biofillers has been evaluated through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conducted in accordance with ISO 14067 standards. Values are lower when compared to conventional mineral fillers or petrochemical additives.

100% Recycled —
ReMade

ReMade in Italy certified biofiller grades: composed of 100% recycled materials, derived 100% from processing by-products.

Compostability & Biodegradability

Our biofillers comply with the heavy metal limits and compositional requirements of EN 13432 (Industrial Composting) and EN 17033 (Soil Biodegradability). When incorporated into certified compostable or biodegradable resins, our biofillers enhance the biodegradation and composting rates, enabling higher certifiable wall thicknesses.

Food Contact

AgroMateriae provides food-contact approved products compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, EU Regulation No 10/2011, and Italian DPR 777/82.

Short Supply Chain (0 km) & Non-Food Competing

Derived from agri-food residues sourced from local supply chains close to processing facilities, strictly non-food competing. They reduce Land Use and Resource Depletion compared to conventional mineral fillers.
