Doctoral program
AgroMateriae is co-funding the doctoral program in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering promoted by the University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum (No. 17), focusing on the Development, Optimization, and Characterization of new sustainable and innovative raw materials derived from agro-industrial waste for the plastics and bioplastics sector.
The scholarship PNRR pursuant to Decree No. 117/2023 is financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 3.3 (Decree No. 117/2023), and precisely by AgroMateriae Srl. We believe that the collaboration between universities and businesses is a fundamental tool (unfortunately still not widely spread in Italy) to promote innovation and technological development. It represents an important opportunity for both parties involved and for the future doctoral candidate.
In fact, through this partnership, AgroMateriae can benefit from the academic expertise, laboratory facilities, and high-level research at the University of Bologna, while the future doctoral candidate can conduct research on innovative topics and acquire interdisciplinary skills that can be applied in both academic and corporate settings.
