The SFF biofiller is our technological biofiller obtained from the sunflower meal by-products.
These residues are generated by Tampieri spa in Faenza, thus representing a true example of zero kilometers. The SFF biofiller can be supplied in different grades:
• SFF B grades
• SFF Advanced grades
• SFF Master grades
SFF B grades
The SFF B grades are biofillers composed of both tiny particles and micro-fibers. These grades are ideal for injection molding applications where fiber orientation can enhance the material’s mechanical stiffness.
SFF Advanced grades
The SFF advanced grades are our customized biofillers optimized for specific applications. We can improve the hydrophobicity, the dosability and flowability, the colour and the mechanical response of the biofillers.
SFF Master grades
The SFF biofiller can be concentrated (up to 50-70%) into masterbatches using polyolefinic or biodegradable resins as carriers
