ICSC National Conference

During the event, Alessandro Nanni, our Co-founder & Head of Innovation, presented some of the results of the AWAD project – Agro-Industrial Waste valorization through Machine-learning Accelerated Design – illustrating how the combined use of Machine Learning and Atomic Simulation can accelerate the prediction of the properties and performance of materials developed from agro-industrial waste.
AWAD is an Innovation Grant-winning project that brings together:
AgroMateriae, Tampieri Financial Group Spa, and IFAB International Foundation Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for Human Development as its academic partner of reference;
CNR_ICCOM as a key academic partner;
University of Trieste (UNITS) and University of Pisa (UNIP) as partner institutions;
A fine example of how synergies between industry and research can generate concrete, sustainable and impactful innovation.
